The 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC) is a major election held every five years. It is the highest level of party congress in China and also the highest decision-making body of the CPC. The main tasks of this congress are to review and summarize the work since the 18th National Congress, elect new central leadership, and set out new strategies for reform and development.
