I recently had the opportunity to volunteer at a nursing home and got to know an elderly man who used to be a famous pianist but had to give it up due to Alzheimer's Disease. It was an eye-opening experience for me, as I learned about his struggles with the disease and how he still managed to find joy in life despite his condition. He was so grateful for my visit and it made me appreciate how much even small acts of kindness can mean for someone who is struggling.
