Abstract: In recent years, with the rapid development of science and technology, the role of technology incubators has become more and more important. Technology incubator is a kind of carrier for cultivating high-tech enterprises. It provides necessary environment for innovative entrepreneurs to develop their business and realize their dreams. This paper mainly studies the role of technology incubator in promoting scientific and technological innovation, improving entrepreneurial ability, creating employment opportunities and driving regional economic development. Through literature review, field research and case analysis, this paper analyzes the role of technology incubators in promoting scientific and technological innovation from four aspects: providing resources support for high-tech enterprises, helping enterprises to improve their innovation ability, providing services for enterprise transformation from research results to products or services, and promoting industrial agglomeration effect. Finally, this paper puts forward some suggestions on how to play a better role in promoting technological innovation through technology incubators.
