A Receipt

I, John Smith, am writing this receipt to record the transaction that I made with my friend, Jane Doe. On May 3rd, 2021, I loaned Jane $50 for her upcoming vacation. We agreed that she would pay me back within one month. In order to ensure this agreement is fulfilled and both parties are held accountable for their promises, we agreed to document the transaction in a receipt.

This receipt serves as evidence of our agreement and states that Jane will pay me back the sum of $50 by June 3rd 2021. It also states that if she fails to do so within the allotted time frame, then I reserve the right to take legal action against her.
