Once upon a time, in a small village, there lived a farmer named Jack. He had two children, Emily and Jimmy. They loved to explore the forest near their home and would often come across all kinds of wild animals.

One day while walking through the woods, they heard some strange noises coming from a nearby cave. As they cautiously approached the cave entrance, they saw a family of foxes inside! Emily and Jimmy were both very excited to see these animals in person for the first time.

The foxes seemed to be in distress as their home was being taken over by an evil wolf who was determined to drive them away from their den. Emily and Jimmy decided that they must help save these poor creatures from this dangerous situation!

They quickly devised a plan: They would make fake rocks out of mud and leaves and place them around the entrance of the cave. This way when the wolf returned he would think that no one had been inside and he wouldn't bother looking any further for his prey.

The plan worked perfectly! The wolf never suspected that anything was amiss as he left empty-handed each time he came back to check on his progress. Eventually, after weeks of hard work, Emily and Jimmy managed to completely block off the entrance with their fake rocks so that it looked just like any other part of the forest floor!

Now safe from harm, Emily and Jimmy began visiting with their new friends every day after school letting them know how much they cared about them all year round. The foxes eventually became so comfortable with them that even when Jack was around they weren't afraid anymore! In fact they even started inviting him into their den whenever he visited his children in the woods!
The family of foxes eventually moved on to find another home but not before thanking Emily and Jimmy for saving them from danger. The children were sad but also proud knowing that without their help those animals wouldn't have been able to survive such an ordeal!

And so this is how two brave children saved an entire family of foxes by using nothing more than mud, leaves and lots of determination!
